Like any real world destination, your theme park in Roller Coaster Kingdom needs to be well maintained and have some order to it. This is done with a variety of things, but mostly with lines and paths. The paths in Roller Coaster Kingdom are designed to make it faster and more efficient for the visitors to get between rides. It also allows them to get to your food and beverage carts and the bathrooms you will install later in the game. If you do not have paths in Roller Coaster Kingdom or fail to make your lines long enough, you are going to quickly find that the people in your park are not able to get around as they need to.

How to Map Out Your Paths

A good plan is to put a path fully around each ride you put into the game. You should never stack rides next to each other because you may need that concrete space to expand the line from your ride and having those paths between rides will make installing your food and beverage carts much easier. Additionally, it will help your visitors get between rides with ease, keeping them from wandering around randomly and getting into trouble before leaving.

Paths are a means of maintaining order. If you have between 100 and 200 people in your park at a time, you need to be sure that they are under control. It’s impossible to keep everyone happy individually, so spend a bit of time maintaining the paths, the lines, your restrooms, and the various food and beverage carts that go onto those paths and you will have a much more engaged, entertained audience and those park points will sky rocket before you know it.

Ideally, this can be done without needing to destroy anything in the future to make room. Plan effectively and the paths will be invaluable when you reach level 25 and start upgrading your park extensively.
